I've been working on this manga for a few months now (occasionally posting about it on my twitter account), and I'm finally ready to start posting!!

Here's the cover of the manga, "My Musical Story." 
(Those of you that support me on Patreon have already seen this like a month ago... So you should join if you want to see my art before anyone else!)

This story will be about Moon, the person on the cover. It will cover topics such as:
-Equal Rights/Social Justice
-LGBTQ+
-Anxiety/Depression/Disorders
-Music
-Friendship/Relationships
-Gaming/Nerd/Geek culture

And more! The above three are the biggest topics I'll cover.

Why am I writing/drawing this? Because the world right now can use more mangas/comics that have representations of other groups.
I haven't seen manga where they cover the above topics, nor a manga that bridges and infuses two cultures (Japanese and American).
As a child, I wasn't quite able to relate to reading mangas because their school lives are quite different than the school life of US kids. 
Since I grew up in the US, that allows me to know what it's like to be in an American school, and illustrate that in my Japanese manga-form.

My plan is to upload the first chapter (about 20 pages) and see how it goes from here.
If there's traction and people like it, great! That'll inspire me to keep drawing.
If there isn't? Well, I have at least five chapters I want to draw about, so I'll keep drawing and posting anyways

I'll upload one page every Wednesday and Sunday until the first 20 pages are out there. It will be uploaded on my wordpress website, and I will make a journal entry when I upload it there and will provide the link to it
